The Fluffy Files: Rosemary Scout

Hello Batlings!
Today, I want to tell you about a little friend of mine...

Rosemary Scout

I met Scout while on vacation; she loves to travel.
After vacation, we went our separate ways; we met again a couple days ago.

Scout has recently undergone a name change; I can't even remember what her name used to be!

Scout is very adventurous, and very sneaky; she enjoys hiding in my purse when I leave the house.

Scout's favorite color is dark blue, and she hates getting her fur messed up.
Her favorite foods are mangos, bananas, and nectar; she is the only little brown bat that hates bugs.
Scout LOVES flying; she as-well HATES crashing.

What do you think of Scout? Do you share any of her interests? Please comment about it!

MORE FLUFFY FILES WILL BE APPEARING SOON, SO STAY IN-TUNE!

The World According To Kitty Korah

Hello Catlings!

For this post, I will be pretending to be my sister, Kitty; I will tell you about the world according to her, including the fact that she thinks it should belong to her.

So, let's begin!

Mwa-ha-ha ha! Blah-blah-blah! Crazy words! Mustache! Are you ready to hear my opinions? Because I'm going to tell you them, whether you are or not!

Animals, according to me!
All animals love me more than they love anyone else, they all obey my every command, and non of them are as smart as my cat, Meowzza (pronounced Mouzza), because the she's the smartest animal EVER!

Facts, according to me!
My opinions are fact, everyone else is just wrong!

Playtime/chore balance, according to ME!!!
Playtime RULES! Chores DROOL! (Why can't we just get a maid?).

Life, according to me.
Life is a beautiful thing, and should not be wasted; every moment possible should be spent doing something, and life should have a purpose! I will be the greatest space engineer/genetic engineer EVER!

Note: the opinions expressed in this post do not necessarily reflect the opinions of this blog's author, Ari.k.

As your queen, I order you to comment, follow, and share!

Goodbye Catlings!

Evolution Theory #3: Symbiotic Floatiness

 Hello Batlings!

I have somewhat of a ridiculous theory, but it just might be true.

Long ago, some ammonites used air pockets in their shells to float

(Picture from the internet)

The fact that ammonites used air got me thinking; they used air because it's less dense than water, so could something on land do the same thing with something less dense than air?

What if there was a plant that produced helium to spread it's seeds farther? (More on that in another theory). Creatures that ate the plant might be able to use the helium to do the same thing as the ammonite; such a creature would normally have the helium dispersed through it's blood, but could then concentrate it in pockets to float, just like the ammonite!

These creatures might even be able to sleep while floating! They could even develop a symbiotic relationship with the original plant, spreading the plant's seeds through their waste, and staying close to the plants in general.

The benefits to this adaptation are obvious; they could float, without using the energy it normally takes to fly with wings; they could sleep in a position where few predators could get to them (so long as they didn't run out of helium); and it would be harder for them to drown.

What do you think of my theory? Could it happen? Please comment your thoughts and feelings!

A Little Bit More About Me

Hello Batlings!
Today, I want to tell you a bit more about me, flaws and all!

1. I'm Funny
As you may have noticed, I love making jokes! My favorite type of jokes are puns, or play on words! What do you call a red-headed gardener with sharp finger nails? Rose!

2. I'm easily Stressed
You most likely don't know this, but I am VERY easily stressed! A lot of people all talking at once, not being able to understand something, or, worst of all, being BORED, all stress me out quicker than light from the sun gets to the earth! I've been working on this, but it still causes problems sometimes.

3. I'm Smart
I know a lot of people say this about themselves, but it's true; I am really smart! Yes, I'm too young to have a lot of knowledge, but that doesn't mean I'm not smart; I know that we're going to mars within the next decade, I know that the world can be dangerous (and amazing), I know that watching violence and gore is bad for your brain, and I have been saying for years that the laws of physics aren't the same across the universe.

4. I'm Terrible About Brushing My Hair
I have had trouble with my hair since I born! I'll forget to brush it, I won't brush it all the way, or I'll brush it so much it'll frizz up and get split ends! And no matter how much I brush it, by the end of the day, it looks like it hasn't been brushed in a week! Because of my trouble brushing it, I've gotten somewhat paranoid about it get tangled, wet, or *Shudder* DIRTY! Dun-du-daa!

5. I'm Creative
Ever heard of a Wooplesnop? That's because I just made it up; it's green, with large purple spots! It has the head of a dog, the body of an octopus, and is completely covered in fur! It does not have a octopus beak, and is amphibious.

6. I'm Bad At Talking To People
I have never met a non-family member that I really liked; so, when I was younger, I decided to stop talking to other kids unless I had to, meeting potential friends through my sisters, who didn't mind that most kids liked stupid things. An un-foreseen side effect, is that I get so worried about how to say something to someone I don't know, that I never actually say it! I am getting better at this, and it is NOT from being homeschooled, because I still would've thought that the other kids were violent, stupid, or obsessed with their looks, even if I had been in school. This little problem is actually one reason I started this blog, to learn more about others, and to let them learn more about me, before I ever end up maybe talking to them.

7. I'm Good With Words
And to end things on a good (yet ironic) note, I may be bad at talking to people I don't know, but I am great with words (most of the time). I will go back and change things a lot, constantly thinking of better sounding ways to say things; I won't always hit the mark, but I'll try my hardest to make the things I write look and sound amazing!

(Notes: I may be bad at talking to people I don't know, but I will have long, deep conversations and debates with people I know and care about! And yes, I did come up with the Wooplesnop as I was writing it :))

What do you think? Am I being honest, and telling you the truth? well, no matter what I say, you should always have a bit of doubt; it's good for you! I am telling the truth about myself, flaws and all, but it's up to you to decide if you believe it or not.

Goodbye Batlings! Flaws and all, you're still most likely AMAZING!

Things To Remember

Hello Batlings!                                                                                                                                      Today, I want to tell you my opinions on how to live a healthy, happy, and full life!

A Random Symbol Of Life

(Created On My Computer By Me, Ari Korah)

Be Prideful

I hate it when people say 'don't be prideful'. Pride is a good thing; be proud of your accomplishments, be proud of your family, be proud of your abilities, just don't act like you're better than everyone else.

Be Curious

Curiosity is life; it's what inspires us to explore, to discover, to learn, and, ultimately, to survive. If anyone tells you that curiosity killed the cat, just respond with 'How?'; they will not have an answer, proving that they were never curious enough to find out.

Be Strong

Strength can come in many forms; physical strength, strength of mind, strength of will, all of which are important, and should be exercised to their fullest potential.

Be Peaceful

One of my mothers has a saying, It's better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener in a war; but I think it's more important to be a warrior in a war, and a gardener in a garden. Everyone should know how to defend themselves and others, and everyone should be willing to fight for what's truly worth it, but you should never go looking for a fight, and should try to avoid fighting when you can.

(Note: My mom believes in peace, as I do, I was just using her expression for emphasis)

Be Respectful

Many people complain that they don't get enough respect, but then they don't respect anyone else; you should not give your respect to those who are cruel, but everyone else deserves respect, albeit some more than others. Don't be mean to everyone, then expect them to be nice to you; that's not how it works.

Be True

Be true to your family, be true to your friends, be true to your partner (if you have one), and be true to yourself, and your morals; only break your own ethics if there is absolutely no other choice, never betray family, don't disrespect your friends, and you'll be surprised at what can happen.

Bonus! Always put your family before anyone else, and they'll always have your back. Don't give your trust out to someone who hasn't earned it. Remember to have fun, and live long and prosper (even if you aren't a Trekkie!).

A Contest For Siblings

Hello Batlings!
It has come to my attention that a trope has spread around; a trope of siblings hating each other, sometimes even trying to KILL one another!
Most siblings are not like this; most siblings LOVE each other more than anyone else.

I am lucky enough to have the two best little sisters in all of existence; I would jump off a bridge into boiling lava for them, as any sister, brother, or other would.

There are many people who do not have siblings; when they see sibling rivalries on the internet, they think that siblings actually hate each other.

I am holding a contest; write a comment about a memory you have of your siblings, the best ones will be posted on this blog with the headline 'Good Times With Siblings'.

(To enter a comment, write 'My Good Memory'; by writing this, you are consenting to having your comment and name posted on this blog).

Here is my 'entry' (It is just an example, and will not be in the contest):

'My Good Memory: My sisters and I often sing songs together; with Kitty singing lead, and Griffon and I singing back-up. We often change the lyrics or tune, and some of the best times we have spent together have been (literally) filled with song! :).'

The comments can be a specific story, or just something you love about your siblings; so what are you waiting for? Get commenting!!!

(No nudity, sex, extreme violence, or insulting others).

Goodbye Batlings!!!

Wlecome Home, Bob And Doug!!!
